Roman is the creative mastermind of the company. A founder and leader, his passion keeps the office energized and motivated. He is dynamic and can be relied on to bring fresh ideas to the table. His outside-the-box thinking has pushed the company forward from day one. An alum of the University of Alabama, Roman graduated with the class of 1992 with a degree in urban planning and regional development. In 2005, upon learning about a niche in the guardrail industry, Roman called on one of his lifelong friends and pitched the idea for a company that would become C&H.

 

Now, he and Pepper have transformed the long-shot idea into a highly efficient and profitable business. Roman is a member of the ATSSA Operating Committee, the ARBA Board of Directors, the Bonanza Day Committee, the AGC Work Zone Safety Committee, and the Mobile Section Alabama AGC Board of Directors. Roman lives on Fowl River with his wife, Gloria. He is a highly skilled and versatile outdoorsman, loaded up and ready to go no matter the season.

 

His sons, Jeff Roman and Jennings, are also successful outdoorsmen like their father. Roman never does anything half-way, especially when it comes to those closest to him. He is a loyal friend and always comes through in a pinch.
